ATA GOLF Tournament Is A Grand Success

American Telugu Association(ATA) - Washington DC chapter successfully conducted a regional GOLF Tournament in Lansdowne Gold Resort in Virginia on Saturday September 14th. 120 Golf Players from across the DC region were participated and the entire event was spectacular. ATA Leadership thanked each and every one for making this event a Grand success.

This event was conducted as part of ATA's community and youth initiatives. The purpose of this event is bringing our community together and encourage participation in various sports activities and make them part of the community. DC area Telugu people have enjoyed this occasion and expressed their gratitude to ATA's commitment towards the community. 

It was a great festive atmosphere at the Pavilion during the award ceremony after the golfing. A total of 120 Golf players along with 200 ATA well wishers were present during the award ceremony and winners, runner-ups will be invited to play in ATA-national GOLF Tournament which will be conducted on July 3rd 2014 in Philadelphia during ATA 13th Conference & Youth Convention as part of the community outreach programs.

The event was concluded by awarding trophies to the winners and runners of the event. It was a great show of excellence by the ever-busy community members. The crowd cheered the winners and runners alike as the proud recipients walked to receive the trophy.

ATA thanked Supper Club of India, Banjara Indian Cuisine, Swagath Vegetarian Cuisine for delicious Breakfast and Lunch and other sponsors were Janetha Immigration Law Firm, Finnegans.net, Desigolfers.org;

ATA 13th Conference Convener Parmesh Bheemreddy, ATA 13th Conference Coordinator Bhuvanesh Boojala, BOTs Rajesh Madireddy, Soumya Kondapally, Janetha Kancharla, Adhoc committee member RamMohan Konda, RCs Venkat Kondapolu, Ravi Bojja, Sridhar Banala, thanked the entire crowd for attending the Tournament and thanked the volunteers for their help.

ATA Golf Committee Chair Muralidhar Malyala, Golf Committee Co-chair Vikram Kallepu made every effort to make sure the entire event runs without any hick-ups.
 
Other Conference Committee leaders who supported the event was Jayanth Challa, Ram Mattapalli, Goutham Amarneni, Jay Annam, Lokesh Reddy, Manohar Enugu,  Madhu Vuradi, Ravi Puli, Vishu Kalawala, Hemanth Kishore, Sravan Paduru, Madan Vanga, Amar Bojja, Pavan Kondapally, Desigolfers.org members Prasad Tumuluri and Raj.

ATA - Washington DC team efforts made this entire event a grand success and making the event as one of its kind in the DC metro area.
