ATA Board Meeting held in Detroit

Detroit: American Telugu Association (ATA) held its board meeting on 8th September in Detroit at Southfield Marriott Hotel.

The meeting was presided by ATA President, Mr. Karunakar Asireddy. ATA Trustees, Advisors, Regional Coordinators, Standing Committee chairs from across USA attended the meeting along with many local ATA supporters from Detroit. 

The event was organized by Detroit ATA team: Trustees Hari Lingala and Murali Bommanaveni, International coordinator Kashi Kotha, Regional Advisor Sunny Reddy, CME Chair Dr. Ashok Kondur, Dr. Harsha Krishna, RCs Chenchu Reddy and Sunil Manduti, SC chair Venu Suraparaju.

ATA leadership started the process for the upcoming elections for the Trustee positions by passing the resolutions appointing the Nomination Committee and the Election Committee.

Apart from conducting the regular business, ATA Board discussed several activities and opportunities to serve the Telugu Community in USA. 

ATA founder member and past President Mr. Hanmanth Reddy, ATA President Karunakar Asireddy, and ATA President-elect Parmesh Bheemreddy launched ATA Matrimonial website during the board meeting.

ATA Leadership commended the efforts put by Matrimonial committee, Sankar Bandi, Ram Krishna Reddy Alla, Ajay Reddy, Anil Boddireddy, and Arundhathi Koduru.

ATA Board appreciated and thanked Detroit ATA team for hosting the Board Meeting and requested to explore the logistics to conduct 2020 Convention in Detroit. Next

ATA Board Meeting will be held on 19th January 2019 in Las Vegas.
