Andhra girl dies in Chennai bomb blasts

24 -year old Paruchuri Swathi was the lone victim in the Chennai blasts. Swathi succumbed to the blast as the bomb was placed directly under the seat she was sitting on.  

Swathi is from Guntur in Andhra Pradesh. She was a meritorious student who had completed her M.Tech from JNTU Hyderabad and got a campus placement in TCS, Bangalore.

Swathi had applied for a week’s leave to visit her parents and booked the ticket through Tatkal. The unfortunate girl was also planning to get married to her classmate from Warangal and has also taken the blessings of her parents.

Swathi has a younger brother who is studying engineering at IIT Mumbai.  Swathi’s family is devastated at the loss.

TCS Bangalore, has issued a statement mourning the death of Swathi. Our heart goes out to the bereaved family.  

May God grant them the emotional strength to cope with this irreplaceable loss.
