Harikrishna and Jr NTR to skip Naidu meet?

The much-awaited conclusion of Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu’s Vasthunna Meekosam padayatra will take place with a grand public meeting at Visakhapatnam on Saturday.

It is definitely a big relief to Naidu as well as the TDP cadres and of course, an important milestone in the history of state politics. But what is more interesting to the media observers is to whether or not sulking TDP MP and Naidu’s brother-in-law Nandamuri Harikrishna and his son Junior N T Rama Rao would attend the public meeting.

According to senior TDP leader Tummala Nageshwara Rao, invitations have been sent to all the members of the NTR family without any exception. “Everybody would be coming to the meeting, including Harikrishna and Junior NTR,” he said.

However, sources said Junior NTR might not be able to make it to the meeting due to his prior engagements and Harikrishna might also skip the meeting on the pretext of ill-health. Harikrishna is learnt to have commented that he had received the invitation very late and there was no call from Naidu inviting him to the function.

If Harikrishna and Jr NTR abstain from the TDP meeting, it would definitely expose the chinks in NTR family.
