No T-issue during Naidu padayatra!

After completing his padayatra in the Telangana region where he openly proclaimed his support to the separate statehood cause, Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu is now conveniently avoiding the Telangana issue during his padayatra in the coastal districts.

All through his speeches, the TDP president has been extremely careful in avoiding the word Telangana and is focussing his attention only on Andhra Pradesh. He has been saying that he would make Andhra Pradesh much more developed than Gujarat in the next five years, if the TDP was voted to power. It clearly meant that Naidu was indicating to the people of Coastal Andhra that the state would remain united even after the next five years.

What is more interesting is that Naidu has also been talking of completion of Pulichintala project to provide irrigation facilities to upland areas of Guntur district, if he came to power. It is a known fact that the Pulichintala project is being strongly opposed by the Telangana people and so, by deliberately mentioning the project, the TDP president has given a hint to the people of Guntur that he would stand by Samaikyandhra.

What a strategy!
