Chiru, Botsa Pat Kiran On Blasts

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, who has been incurring the wrath of the people for his inability to act on the intelligence alerts on terror attacks, received a pat on his back from unexpected quarters.

First it was union tourism minister K Chiranjeevi who was all praise for the Chief Minister for his timely assistance to the victims of Dilsukhnagar bomb blasts. Chiranjeevi visited the blast site and then went to Omni Hospital to call on the injured in the blasts. He said the Chief Minister had done excellent work in providing medical and healthcare facilities to the blast victims. “There is no failure on the part of the government in this regard because nobody knows where and when the terrorist strikes,” he said.

Another person who surprisingly supported Kiran Kumar Reddy was Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana. “Irrespective of all precautions taken by the government, such incidents would occur. The chief minister had responded quickly to the situation and had done his best. The police department, too, did a commendable job in the last two days,” he said and advised the opposition parties not to politicise the issue.
