Balayya, Lokesh Add Colour To Naidu Village

Naravaripalle, a sleepy village near Chandragiri in Tirupati district, remains completely out of news during the normal days. Nobody bothers to visit the village, even its local leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu, former chief minister and Telugu Desam Party president. He does not visit the village even once a year and even when he comes here, he hardly mingles with the local people.

But on Monday, Naravaripalle came alive all of a sudden. Reason: Naidu’s son Lokesh Naidu, who has been frequently visiting the village in the recent past, stayed put in the village for the Sankranti celebrations along with his wife Brahmani. Not only that, he also brought his brother-in-law Nandamuri Balakrishna to the village.

Naturally, it was a pleasant surprise for the villagers to see Balayya Babu off screen amidst them. Long ago, they saw his father N T Rama Rao coming to their village on the occasion of Naidu’s wedding. Now, they could see his son Balakrishna. And he enthralled the villagers by joining them in Sankranthi celebrations including kite flying.

And Lokesh spent most of his time with the local youth, playing cricket along with them. That way, he proved different from his father who always maintained distance from the people and was reserved. May be Lokesh is making preparations for his contest from Chandragiri constituency next time!
