India has been developing a lot not in terms of infrastructure or literacy but in fashion, lifestyle, boldness of women etc. And now the era of the new woman has entered the nude mode thanks to Sherlyn Chopra who calls herself India’s original erotica. The reason for that is her nude feast coming soon in Playboy magazine.

However, this was due in November 2012 but has not come yet. And there seems to be a good reason behind that. According to reliable sources, Sherlyn’s managers spoke to the Playboy authorities and got it postponed. The reason behind this is Sherlyn is fearing a large scale boycott might come.

It is heard that some of the religious hardliners have threatened Sherlyn in this aspect. Apparently, someone like Sunny Leone who came from Canada and that too from the Porn world is doing somewhat conventionally in India. But being born in India if Sherlyn goes nude it will become a major black mark for the nation’s image. Buzz is that Sherlyn got a solid warning so she has to make arrangements for going abroad and settling there in case of any backlash. All this is reportedly the reason for the delay.
