Tweet Review: 'Damarukam', first day, first show

Damarukam, starring Nagarjuna, is a socio-fantasy film is directed by Srinivas Reddy. It is one of the costliest films ever made in Telugu film industry as the estimated budget of this film has gone over Rs. 40 crores. Versatile actor Prakash Raj will be seen in the role of Lord Shiva.

Devi Sri Prasad's music has got flattering reviews no doubt but what has caught everybody's imagination are the special effects. It's been buzzed that Damarukam would be the first Telugu film ever loaded with over 70 minutes of breath-taking visual effects that set a new bench mark for VFX standards in India. A team of over 150 visual effects experts have worked on the movie for over a year now.

Co-starring Anushka, Damarukam is a socio-fantasy entertainer produced by R R Movie makers. Charmee will be seen in an item number. The film inspired by the novel Immortals of Meluha is going to be a surreal experience for the audience.

Krishna Bhagawan's timing and wit in dialogue brings loads of laughs.

Emotion is not strong.

'Kanyakumari..' Song.  Anushka is damn beautiful.

Nag's encounter with aghoras.

Ganesh Venkatraman enters on screen in an important role.

'Reppalapai...' Song. Energetic and arresting.

30 Years experience Prithvi as director Pichchi Kaki- a spoof on tele shopping video. Funny and hilarious.

Except the snakes on the head of Ravi Shankar, no graphics are convincing in the film till now.

Till now it's like a mixture of 'Arundhati' and 'Oh My God'.

Lord Shiva ordering Nandi to protect Nagarjuna is superb.

'Dirty Picture Choopisthaanuroi..' Is the punch dialogue of Nag.

Andhakasura and Lord Shiva encounter. Fight between God and Evil starts.

Pace picked up and emotional peaks are working.

Aghoras song. Very vibrating.

Nag is damn young and his athletic body is impressive.

Climax scene amidst many graphics. Fight between evil and man.

Final line in the film 'dharmo rakshathi rakshitaha'
