The legislators of Telangana Rashtra Samithi went into a huddle at a secret place on the city outskirts on Friday evening to discuss “some important developments.”

One does not know what exactly the reason for their secret meeting is, but speculations are rife that they have got specific hints from their party president K Chandrasekhara Rao about the possibility of the party getting merged with the Congress, as there are indications from the Congress high command on the formation of Telangana. He reportedly asked them to be available for coming to Delhi on September 25, if necessary. The MLAs are said to be discussing the fall out of the merger and their political future in the event of a merger.

The MLAs first planned to meet at the Nizam Club in the evening, but with the news spreading to the media, they changed their venue to some farm house on the outskirts of Hyderabad. It remains to be seen what the outcome of the meeting is and how many MLAs would disagree with KCR on the merger.
