Tamilnadu rights for Prabhas’ ‘Rebel’ were sold at Rs 33 lakh. It should be underlined that his last film Mr Perfect was sold at Rs 11 lakh only (approx). That means Prabhas’  market price in TN has gone up to 3 times in one year.

On the other hand the business for Telugu films is going up in Tamilnadu these days.  The recent releases Gabbar Singh, Sudigadu, Julayi made well at Tamilnadu box office. Earlier, top Telugu films used to release only in Chennai . But now under the name of Tamilnadu rights they are releasing in other cities like Coimbatore, Madurai etc.
