Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has celebrated his 52nd birthday on Thursday and he received greetings and good wishes from several well-wishers including Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh.
However, Kiran could not escape the pungent comments from his bitter critic – former handlooms minister P Shankar Rao, even on his birthday. While extending his greetings to the Chief Minister, Shankar Rao described him as the most egoistic and arrogant politician in the state.
“On his birthday, I pray the god to see that he gives up his ego and arrogance and becomes a cool-headed person,” Shankar Rao said.
The former minister said Kiran did not have even 10 per cent of the good qualities of his father.
“Otherwise, he would have become a gentleman in politics and got good name,” he said. He also demanded that the Chief Minister sack all the tainted ministers and step down from the chair, as he, too, was facing several allegations.
