If the Congress ministers in the Kiran Kumar Reddy cabinet say they are innocent in connection with the issuance of the controversial GOs that indirectly benefited YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, they should come out openly as to why they had to sign the files.

This was stated by senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao. He told the media in New Delhi that it was not enough for the ministers to say that they were innocent.

“The only way they can get out of the CBI case is to expose the misdeeds committed by late chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and his undue favours to his son. They should tell openly as to who had called them and forced them to sign the files,” he said.

VH said the ministers should expose who was the ultimate beneficiary of the decisions taken by them under pressure from YSR.

“At least now, the Congress party should get rid of YSR picture, as it is now the patent of Jaganmohan Reddy. Let us go to the polls with the pictures of Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi,” he suggested.
