Communist Party of India state secretary K Narayana has made a strange offer to Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao on the Telangana statehood issue.

Narayana told the media on Monday that he would offer sweets to KCR, if the Centre makes a positive statement on the Telangana statehood demand. “The TRS president still seems to very much hopeful that the Centre would announce the formation of Telangana state and says he has indications to that effect. But I don’t have so much hope. If the Centre really makes such a statement in favour of Telangana, I will offer sweets to him,” he said.

However, KCR is not very much fond of sweets; in fact, he is advised against eating sweets because he is diabetic. Instead, it would be better if Narayana offers him a bottle of Blue Label whisky!
