Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satynarayana is rushing to New Delhi following an emergency call from the Congress high command, amidst speculations that there is going to be some serious decision on the affairs of the state.

The party leadership is apparently disturbed over the reports that the Kiran Kumar Reddy cabinet has plunged into a chaotic state following the naming of roads and buildings minister Dharmana Prasada Rao in the charge sheet filed by Central Bureau of Investigation in the VANPIC case. If Dharmana’s resignation is accepted, four other ministers would also be forced to resign in the subsequent stages. And if it is not accepted, then it would weaken the case against YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.

According to reports, the Congress high command is likely to make a complete overhaul of the party and the government. It is said the high command may ask the entire cabinet to quit and would bring in a completely new team with non-controversial members. In the process, even Botsa might be shown the door, say sources.
