Senor Congress leader and former MP K Kesava Rao created a sensation of sorts in the state politics when he had held secret parleys with Telugu Desam Party Telangana forum convenor Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Friday.

Kesava Rao met Errabell at the residence of veteran Telangana leader Konda Lakshman Bapuji at Ashok Nagar. Both of them had a secret meeting to discuss the future course of action on the Telangana front, in the wake of the announcement of Telangana JAC and Telangana Rashtra Samithi that they would intensify the agitation for separate state in the month of September. They are learnt to have discussed on how to deny the advantage to the TRS in the present movement.

Kesava Rao is said to have appreciated the decision of the TDP to write a fresh letter to the Centre in support of the formation of Telangana. “That would bring more pressure on the Centre. In the meantime, all the like-minded Telangana forces should work under the common banner led by Konda Lakshman Bapuji to step up the agitation,” he said.

Interestingly, both Kesava Rao and Errabelli ensured that the media had no information about their meeting at the residence of Bapuji.
