Kiran Losing Grip Over Ministers!

It is now pretty evident that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has lost control over his cabinet colleagues. To say bluntly, he does not have any control over the ministers.

Media persons who have been covering the Andhra Pradesh politics for the last few decades can vouch for the fact that this is the only cabinet in which ministers do not think with one brain and act with one word.

“An utter anarchy is prevailing in the state cabinet. There are serious differences within the cabinet ministers and no two ministers agree on one policy decision. Take for example the fee reimbursement scheme. The cabinet would have to take a collective decision on such sensitive matters. But some of the ministers are openly attacking the government on the scheme. That shows the kind of indiscipline in the cabinet,” a media analyst said.

And the Chief Minister is not bothered about this anarchy at all. He is only interested in boosting up his own image by launching fancy programmes like Indiramma Baata and seeking media attention.

“It is time Kiran talk to all the ministers and take them into confidence while taking policy decisions. He has to bring in coordination among them,” senior leader Gade Venkat Reddy said.
