How could Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy become chief minister? Well, according to Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanaraya, Kiran could become CM out of sheer luck, rather than his image in the public.
“Kiran could become the chief minister because his “thala ratha” (fate) was very good. He was lucky to ascend the throne without even serving the state as a minister,” the PCC president said, while interacting with media on Wednesday. He disagreed with the talk that there were coverts within the Congress party supporting YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
“Those who express their loyalty to the party and party president Sonia Gandhi are real Congress workers,” he said.
Botsa agreed with the anguish being expressed by the BC welfare associations on the proposed dilution of fee reimbursement scheme.
“I understand their concern. We will definitely take a re-look at the recommendation made by the cabinet sub-committee. Unfortunately, we are forced to bear the brunt of the decisions taken by the previous government,” Botsa said.
