Erstwhile Praja Rajyam Party leader and Minister for Endowments C Ramachandraiah is not leaving any opportunity to take a dig at the Congress party leadership in the state and Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy.
On Tuesday, Ramachandraiah expressed his disgruntlement, albeit indirectly, for being ignored in the appointment of in-charge ministers for districts.
“It is pretty evident that the Chief Minister has appointed district in-charge ministers according to his choice and confidentiality. It is his prerogative. May be he thought we are not fit to be appointed as in-charge of districts. None of the Kadapa ministers got the chance,” he said.
The minister reiterated his comment that his boss and Rajya Sabha member K Chiranjeevi would become the Chief Minister of the state one day or the other.
“There is nothing wrong in my comment and I stand by it. It is a dream for every politician to become the CM. That does not mean I want Chiranjeevi to replace Kiran as the CM,” he clarified.
He also warned the Kiran Kumar Reddy government against diluting the fee reimbursement scheme.
“We will stall any attempt to impose burden on the BC students. The scheme should continue as it is and the government should bear the entire expenditure,” Ramachandraiah asserted.
