How about three-eyed policy, Mr Naidu?

Telugu Desam Party leader from Kurnool Byreddy Rajasekhara Reddy, who launched his four-day deeksha in the name of “Melukolupu” at Handri Neeva project in Kurnool on Saturday, gave an interesting advice to party president N Chandrababu Naidu.

“The TDP president should give up his two-eyed policy on the state bifurcation issue. Instead, he should adopt a three-eyed policy, in support of the demand for formation of Rayalaseema, along with Telangana and Coastal Andhra. He should open his third eye also,” Byreddy said, while addressing the gathering.

Byreddy made it clear that his deeksha for Rayalaseema state had nothing do with the party.

“I have taken it up in my personal capacity for protecting the rights of Rayalaseema. I have not discussed it with the party leadership. I don’t even need permission from the party to take up this deeksha. And I have not violated the party discipline at all. If necessary, I am prepared to quit the party for protecting the interests of Rayalaseema,” he declared.
