There is said to be more to Rajya Sabha member K V P Ramachandra Rao’s outburst for Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s picture at Gandhi Bhavan than what meets the eye.

There are strong rumours within the Congress party that KVP has already made up his mind to take a plunge into YSR Congress party headed by Y S Jaganmohan Reddy sooner or later, as he has realized that he has no future in the Congress.

Ever since YSR died in a helicopter crash, the Congress leadership has been keeping KVP at bay and he could not get any post or position in the party despite his proximity to many leaders in the high command. He has been maintaining a low profile in the party only because if he raises his voice, he might have to face the same troubles being faced by Jaganmohan Reddy.

Moreover, KVP still has one and a half years left for the completion of his Rajya Sabha term. Soon after he finishes the same, he is expected to disclose his plans. Till such time, he would be secretly guiding Jagan and his party leaders, say sources.
