In what is being seen as a shocker to many, Nandamuri Tarakaratna who rechristened himself as NTR has gone ahead and got married secretly. It is heard that this took place at Sanghi temple in Hyderabad and the girl happens to be a divorcee. She is the daughter of a retired employee of transport department and they hail from Ananthapur. She is also the ex-daughter in law of former Home Minister Late Elimineti Madhava Reddy.
 
The marriage took place in the presence of close circles and friends but the closest relatives did not attend.
 
Few years back, something similar happened when NTR’s grandfather N T Rama Rao dropped a bomb by announcing in a cinema function that he would be marrying Lakshmi Parvathi. This became a major discussion in Telugu Desam camp. Later, NTR married Lakshmi Parvathi in a very simple manner at his residence.
