From day one since the film ‘Eega’ hit the floors, the expectations and anticipations were high. Many declared it as a bumper hit before release. The film has released and it is matching up to the expectations. But what many didn’t expect was ‘Eega’ will rule the box office even beating the Bollywood projects.
 
Recently, the latest collection report was revealed from USA and it is heard that ‘Eega’ stands much ahead of the Bollywood releases. The film ‘Bol Bachchan’ in its opening weekend has reportedly collected $5,61,996 [Rs. 3.13 crores] being shown on 98 screens. The per-screen average worked out to $ 5,735.
 
As for ‘Eega’, in the opening weekend, the film has collected $ 5,38,996 [Rs. 3 crores] being shown in just 31 screens. The per-screen average here is working out to $ 17,387. Same goes with ‘Naan Ee’ [Tamil] which has collected $ 11,638 [Rs. 6.48 lacs] being shown in 8 screens and the per-screen average working out to $ 1,455. That’s the story folks!!
