Here are the glimpses of his talk:
Small To Big To Mammoth:
Initially we thought to make Eega as a small film. But as the story got readied we realized that it's going to be a big film. Finally we discovered that it's not even big but a mammoth size. The producers have given green signal and hence we got into making a mammoth one. It is not possible to pull crowds without stars. Hence we planned a promotion campaign before release. It worked out as we expected. Almost 2500 tickets were sold from multiplexes within 1 hour the bookings were opened.
I'm Not A Star:
I'm not a fool to compare myself with stars. I'm not saying this with modesty. I know that I have huge market and happy for that. But that doesn’t mean I'm no less to any star.
Consuming More Time:
It's not my branding to make films for months together. I know no proper techniques. I have little working experience as assistant director. I worked for 2 films and later emerged as writer and finally became director. Taking more time to complete a film is my drawback. It's not a brand identity.
Universal Eega:
Eega is a universal subject and hence we are releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam
Mahabharata:
My aim is to make a mega budget Mahabharatha in my career. I'll certainly do that.
Star Love:
I love making films with stars. I enjoy that experience. After making Magadheera, I have chosen Maryada Ramanna due to lack of energy levels. Later I planned a film with Prabhas, but his dates were not available. Hence I attempted Eega to complete in few months. But finally it has eaten away this much time.
Film With Prabhas:
I have two to three lines in mind. I'm not thinking much about it right now. I’ll think about it after getting down with this Eega hangover.
