Andhra Jyothy managing director Vemuri Radhakrishna, who never loses an opportunity to run down former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and his son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, has at last said one positive word for YSR.

Interacting with students as part of his Youngistan programme conducted by ABN Andhra Jyothy channel, Radhakrishna said YSR was the best human being compared to many other politicians. Answering a question to compare YSR with Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, he said in maintaining human relations and giving importance to human values, he would rate YSR as the best.

However, in terms of corruption, Radhakrishna said Naidu was far behind YSR. “I can say Naidu is less corrupt than YSR. With regard to orientation towards the development, too, Naidu is the best compared to YSR,” he said.

He called upon the youth not to take corrupt leaders as their role models just because they were young and bold. “The present system has become so corrupt that even APJ Abdul Kalam or Mahatma Gandhi would not win the elections if they really contest. They would rather lose their deposits,” Radhakrishna said.
