Despite the fact that the credibility of Congress MP from Vijayawada Lagadapati Rajagopal is nose-diving and the Congress high command has stopped taking his words seriously, he continues to make predictions as if he is the mouthpiece of the party.

Lagadapati, who was in Tirumala on Saturday, made yet another prediction: that the Congress high command would announce its decision on the Telangana statehood issue in August and that megastar Chiranjeevi would get the berth in the Manmohan Singh cabinet shortly. He, however, did not say whether the Centre would take a decision in favour of Telangana state or otherwise.

The Vijayawada MP’s “chilaka josyam” did not end there. He went on to predict that the Congress party would come to power for the third time in the state in 2014 elections with a comfortable majority. “The government would come out with more innovative schemes and programmes which would definitely fetch victory to the Congress party,” he said.

And Lagadapati made yet another prediction that Pranab Mukherjee is going to win the Presidential elections with 60 per cent of votes. Well, this is definitely going to happen, anyway!
