It looks like the Kiran Kumar Reddy government is acting with vengeance on the alleged illegal acquisition of mobile call details of Central Bureau of Investigation joint director V V Lakshminarayana and his childhood friend Vasireddy Chandrabala by YSR Congress party leaders and Sakshi reporters.

The government on Friday shifted the case from Hyderabad and Cyberabad police to Crime Investigation Department (CID) with immediate effect. Within hours, the CID sleuths began the investigation into the leakage of the mobile call details of CBI chief and also Chandrabala. Additional Director General of Police (CID) Ramanamurthy summoned Nacharam Inspector M Srinivasa

Rao for questioning in the case, as it was he who had placed the request for the call details of the CBI chief from the BSNL authorities.

Interestingly, the CID has started giving minute-to-minute information to the media about the investigation into the case. This is precisely what the YSR Congress party leaders are questioning. Only the courts have to intervene and make it clear whether it was right on the party of the investigating agencies to reveal the investigation details to the media regularly.
