Children should always be the means of pride and joy for their parents and in a creative field like the film industry, such things are noticed very keenly. However, here is one son who seems to be giving a hard time to his dad not just in matters of finance but also in terms of health and wealth.
 
We are talking about SPB Charan, son of S P Balasubramaniam. Reliable sources from Chennai reveal that Charan who is a producer has been making films with Balu’s hard earned money. So far, he has not been able to incur much profits and instead he landed in losses.
 
Not stopping at that, Charan reportedly cut down his weight and told his dad to do the same. Owing to his son’s words, Balu went ahead and slimmed up but this has resulted in slimming of his opportunities too. Sources say many are finding Balu to be very frail and weak so he is not getting calls for stage shows as it is giving a depressing feeling looking at him.

As it is, few Kollywood folks reveal that there are directors who have had nightmarish experience working with Charan because of his imprudence.
