For any film to be successful, there has to be a collective effort right from the crew to the cast to the director to slog it out till the end. And that’s why we see heroes running from  place to place in the name of post release promotion. But still, the fate of the film is decided only by the audience.
 
On the other hand, there are those actors whose mere presence on the screen is enough to keep the box office ringing. And even their worst movies will scrape through with minimum loss. And one man in that category is Junior NTR. The kind of crowd pull he has and the strength at box office is remarkable.
 
This has been observed with the final reports of his last release ‘Dammu’. Despite poor talk and below average reviews, the film has garnered a total share of Rs 32.15 crores. If only the budget was contained this would have resulted as a commercial success. But still, given the content of the film and its taking, the trade pundits say this is pure power of NTR that the film managed this much.
