A new trend of remakes has been happening in the Indian film fraternity and this has been the case with Tollywood too. But right now, one remake has begun to grab the attention of many. This is about the film ‘Assembly Rowdy’ which had Mohan Babu in the lead along with the late Divya Bharati.

Reports say the remake has been announced and this would have Manchu Vishnu in the lead under the direction of veteran B Gopal. The dialogues would be penned by Paruchuri brothers. The general talk is that remaking this film is a good thing. Some suggest that even ‘M Dharmaraju MA’ should also be remade.

They add that this approach is good for both Vishnu and Manoj’s career. Instead of doing new stories they could work on their father’s hits. However, they suggest that the remake has to be in tune with today’s times. Instead of imitating their father the duo should develop a mark of their own.
