Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi president Manda Krishna Madiga is undoubtedly a great fighter in terms of leading the movement of the oppressed classes. But unfortunately he proved a failure as a political leader, as the people always treat movement and politics separately.
Yet, Krishna Madiga attacks politicians with harsh words, in a desperate to establish his own political identity. Reacting on the outcome of by-elections to 18 assembly seats and Nellore Lok Sabha seat, he said it was unfortunate that the people had not distinguished between a corrupt party and non-corrupt parties.
“They could not differentiate between Gandhi and Godse and voted for the latter,” he observed.
However, Krishna Madiga did not clarify whom he was referring to as Gandhi and Godse. Since he has been attacking YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in the recent past, one should assume that he is treating Jagan as Godse because it was Jagan’s party which had won most seats. Perhaps, in his view Gandhi means Sonia Gandhi.
If that is the case, why can’t Manda Krishna join the Congress party? He should also make it clear as to who why he was treating Jagan as Godse? Well, it is not as easy to answer these questions as one makes the rhetoric.
