The saga of remakes has been increasing with each passing day but the important thing is, when the remake project is helmed by the same director who did the original, the efficiency of the product is coming under a doubtful scanner. Right now, that seems to be the case with another project gearing up to hit the floors.
 
We are talking about the sequel to the film ‘Aditya 369’. As such, the original is considered a classic and the sequel is titled as ‘Aditya 999’. The veteran director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao who did the original is now gearing up to do the sequel. But then, Singeetam is touching almost 80 years of age.
 
So the big question is, can he repeat that wonder with Balayya? Inside talk is that the sequel also will run on the time machine concept. While that sounds good, some are expressing doubt whether Singeetam will have the ability to connect to the new age audience pulse. Usually, veteran directors tend to do it in their own wavelength. Only time will answer this question.
