We have heard about Marxism, Leninism, Communism and Maoism. But a new political philosophy is being propagated in the state now; and that is Jaganism.

The new philosophy has been announced by fans of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. Their goal is to strive for increase of opportunities for the better lives of the people under the “right” leadership of Jaganmohan Reddy.

“Visionless leadership and political instability have become a bane for the state. Everyone talks about them, but little action is taken to rectify the same,” says Mohd Ather, president of Association in Support for Jaganism (ASJ).

He said he had started the ASJ as a first step towards working towards development and welfare of people of Andhra Pradesh under the leadership of Jagan. “The ASJ supports him as a champion of welfare. We want him to play a leadership role in fighting for all opportunities for people’s better lives,” he said.

The ASJ also has a website: www.asjaganism.org (under construction), where it wants all sections people to come forward and share their thoughts, besides participating in various events to be planed in the coming days.

Well, one hopes the new philosophy does not preach the people how to become millionaires through dubious means!
