Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has once again chosen a wrong man to help him fight against corruption. On Monday, Ramdev met Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu and wanted the latter’s support to his nation-wide campaign against corruption.

First of all, Naidu himself is in the neck-deep corruption charges. It is an open secret that it was during Naidu’s regime that the corruption had been institutionalised.

Secondly, there have been allegations against him that he had stashed huge wealth in Swiss Banks and besides in his benami firms in Singapore, Dubai, Malayasia and Mauritius. His own erstwhile party leader Kola Krishna Mohan alleged a couple of days ago that he had bank balances to the extent of Rs 15,000 crore in foreign banks.

So one wonders why Ramdev had chosen Naidu in his ant-corruption mission. In fact, Ramdev Baba himself has been facing allegations of amassing huge wealth name of preaching yoga and spirituality and building massive assets across the globe. It clearly shows that the entire war against corruption is a mere farce being enacted by a hypocrite with the help of other hypocrites!
