Despite the hectic electioneering in Parkal, the only seat in Telangana going to by-elections on June 12, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao was nowhere to be heard, leave alone being seen anywhere in the campaign.

At a time when all the top leaders of the political parties including Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana, megastar Chiranjeevi, Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress party leader Y Vijayalakshmi are spending sleepless nights and touring extensively in all the constituencies, KCR confined himself to his Hyderabad residence and at times to his Medak farmhouse. He was not even traced in the Telangana Bhavan, his party office to address any press conferences in the recent past.

As the campaigning is coming to a close, KCR suddenly woke up from slumber and is all set to address a public meeting on Saturday evening. Perhaps, the huge turnout at the public meeting of Vijayamma in Parkal seems to have come as a shocker to KCR and hence, he has decided to turn the fortunes of the party at the fag end of the campaign.
