Will former Andhra Pradesh chief minister and Tamil Nadu governor K Rosaiah be the next President of India?

According to a report, the Congress Working Committee which had met a couple of days ago, had considered the name of Rosaiah for the President post, as it did not want to lose an experienced leader like Pranab Mukherjee at a time when the country’s economy is in a shambles. And there is also a proposal to project Pranab as the next Prime Ministerial candidate in case Manmohan Singh wants to step down sooner or later.

Party sources said Rosaiah’s elevation to the president’s post would also an attempt to please the people of the state when there was a negative wave for the Congress in the state. Moreover, Rosaiah is non-controversial and is acceptable to majority of the people, the party sources said.

If the reports are true, Rosaiah is the luckiest person in the Congress party!
