The tremendous response from the crowds to the road shows of YSR Congress party honorary president Y S Vijayalakshmi has turned out to be an eye sore for Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana.

Botsa on Thursday made light of the heavy turnout of crowds at Vijayamma’s meetings.

“Anybody who can mobilize crowds by spending huge amounts would get such an audience. The crowds were brought from neighbouring districts to ensure that the first road show of Vijayamma would not become a flop,” he said.

The PCC president said any vote for Jagan’s party would amount to opening the doors for large scale corruption.

“It is very dangerous to democracy. We were all shocked at the sudden demise of late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. But unfortunately, Vijayamma and her family are using this death to gain political advantage,” he said.
