This might sound clichéd but then the state of Andhra Pradesh seems to have been struck by an evil eye. First, it was the death of YSR, then it is the Telangana chaos which has put the state in shambles. The decisions by the state and central governments are also not helping much. Anyways, all eyes are right now on the Sri Krishna Committee report hoping that they will do something useful.
While the Sri Krishna Committee is about to release its judgment shortly, the big question still remains. What is that it is going to deliver? Will that be straight forward or will that be like ‘cat on wall’ act. I only plead not to play with AP citizens with ‘cat on wall’ act and ‘beating around the bush. Whether Telangana state is possible or not, be clear. I only request Sri Krishna Committee or any other ‘hand’ behind that to be straight in thought and expression.
By beating around the bush for political reasons, the people will be suffering at the end with various confusions and turmoil. I wish Srikrishna Committee has some brains to use in this line. While it is agreed that they have their own limitations and ‘pressures’ from all sides, they must remember that anything they do will not only go down into the records of history but it will also affect the future of the Telugu people in a big way.
Just stating that the committee would give few suggestions and directions to the centre and big decisions would be taken based on that does not count for a wise move. The objective of a committee is to give a concrete decision and not to create further ambiguity by taking an undecided stand. It is the moral responsibility of the system to provide clarity to the common man without any pre meditated motives.
Now that the committee has been named after Sri Krishna, they must adhere to his policies and ensure that whatever they do is for ‘Loka Kalyanam’ and not do anything dodgy.
It is stated that the result will be submitted today by Sri Krishna Committee but that will come before public only on January 6th 2011. That way peace is ensured for these New Year celebrations.
