And pray tell me, how this police force acts? It is only by the orders of the government they are serving under. (That is why Mr. Seetharamanjaneyulu is not punished and in stead posted at Vijawada, ignoring gripes from media) And whom does the state government serve? The Delhi Congress bosses. Delhi decided to teach Jagan a lesson and he was taught. Even Jagan knows this but he can not blame Sonia directly so he accused Rosaiah for his government’s failure of not protecting him from KCR’s stone-throwing.
But KCR and other T-leaders dubbed this as their victory. Tell me, why they could not do this in Khammam visit of Jagan? If they could march their cadre from all over T-region to Warangal, they could have as well done it in Khammam district too, at least in places like Kothagudem close to Warangal district. Thus they could have shown to its critics that its clout is not confined to only two districts – Warangal and Karimnagar. May I suggest an answer – that time high command decided to allow Jagan to undertake tour and TRS could not stop it. This time they decided otherwise and TRS could do it. (I am ready to stand corrected if someone gives a logical counter argument)
Leaders like Madhu Yashky, Gutta Sukendar Reddy etc. might not have applied this logic when they declared that no integrationist would be allowed to tour T-region till Sri Krishna committee submits its report. I am wondering what they would say if tomorrow Delhi allows Chiranjeevi to undertake similar tour in T-region. Just to send a message to the public that it is against Jagan only but not all integrationists –Delhi might send Lagadapati or Chiru on a goodwill trip or during by-poll electioneering. Then do you think these Congress MPs, MLAs would skip it? NO way!
It is a known fact that KCR is being aided surreptitiously by Congress T-leaders. Even Dec 9th statement was due to the tacit efforts of his Congress friends. If high command puts its foot down and restrains his Delhi benefactors, KCR’s wings get clipped and he would find a tough terrain to tread. In this kind of circumstances, I do not think even KCR and his supporters would be able to stop tours of integrationists in T-region, if allowed by Delhi.
So if Jagan really intends to tour the state, he should wait till high command nods its head. But ‘waiting’ is the word Jagan hates most. He rushed to Delhi and tried to meet Sonia to seek her permission. But he was no Chiru to get instant appointments. Knowing Sonia’s mood, none of his father’s erstwhile friends was prepared to meet him. Only Moily, a family friend and reportedly business partner consented. He even gave blessings for his consolation tour in A-area, since it is tension-free.
Even this was not tolerated by Jagan’s detractors. They want to bury him politically and made a mountain out of molehill. Messages rushed to Delhi and heads in Delhi came together. Moily was asked to call Jagan a liar and he obliged. The very fact that he took 7 hours to contradict Jagan’s statement reveals the closed-door drama during the day. As of now, Jagan is not supposed to go anywhere with his paraphernalia. In all probability he will not be allowed to canvass in by-elections in T-region.
Can anyone tell me the logic high command applied behind preventing Jagan to visit Srikakulam district? Okay, in T, KCR was there to oppose but who opposes Jagan in Eastern region to create law and order situation? Today Botsa is very vociferous in opposing Jagan’s tour. Will he be asked to stop Jagan? After all, he too has a plank – ‘Separate Sagarandhra’. He can give a statement to the effect that Jagan being an integrationist; needs to be opposed Sagarandhra. Of late, Botsa is projected as a strongman in that region and he can arrange men and muscle to repeat a Mehbubabad on Vizag-Srikakulam line, if high command demands so. (to be concluded)
