YSRCP leader and Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani was arrested on Sunday morning under dramatic circumstances.
There is a controversy going on regarding YSRCP party office building in Gudivada. The party office is currently operating from a rented premises.
However, the owner of the building recently locked up the building which is being strongly opposed by YSRCP leaders and activists. On Sunday, Kodali Nani came to the building and tried to break open the lock.
Police rushed to the spot and took Kodali Nani into custody.Tension prevailed as there were heated arguments between police officials and YSRCP leaders, activists on the issue.
Nani alleged that the police was trying to forcibly vacate the building under pressure from TDP leaders.
