Vanabhojanaalu By TPAD Brings Telugu Community Together

Vanabhojanaalu by Telangana Peoples Association of Dallas (TPAD) brings Dallas Telangana and Telugu community together yet again!

TPAD known for its Telangana community events unveiled yet another memorable event in the form of Vanabhojanaalu. The event was attended by over 1000 people.

The event was held at Hidden Cove Park in Frisco, TX. The weather was at its best honoring the enthusiasm of the attendees.

The organizers made certain there were ample games for kids and adults ranging from Cricket, Gunny Bag running, Kites, Tug of war e.t.c.

The guests were pleasantly surprised by a Flash Mob by the organizers and kids. The dances left the attendees in awe.

With a soft cool breeze from the lake and the right kind of food, from Telangana delicacies specially made to the foot tapping music the ambience set the perfect tone to a memorable day.

The event started off with Ajay Reddy and Rao Kalvala welcoming the guests to the park. They outlined the key principles of TPAD which is to bring togetherness among the Telugu community in Dallas/Fort-Worth Metroplex, and felt highly contended with the people from all regions and walks of life attending the event. They thanked local and national organizations for spreading the word about Vanabhojanaalu.

As the event progressed there were cars stranded outside park trying to get in and have glimpse of the event. However the organizers ensured other means to see people reached to the venue.

A moment of silence was dedicated to the Nepal earthquake affected people, and a request was made to donate via many means and sources so the funds could reach the right people.

Event of such scale was made possible by the detailed planning and committed execution of more than 80 volunteers.

Majority of the volunteers were women volunteers. Among them special mention need to made about Sharada Singireddy, Madhavi Sunkireddy, Indu Pancharpula, Jaya Thalakalapalli, Uma Bandaru, Shanti Nuthi, Pallavi Thotakura, Geetha Kalvala, Sangeetha Telugu, Madhavi and Madhumathi Vysyaraju. Event was ably led and supported by Raghuveer Bandaru, Rao Kalvala, Naresh Sunkireddy, Sudhakar Kalasani, Anand Kathroju, Karan Poreddy, Pavan Gangadhara, Linga Reddy Alva, Kiran Walia, Parthasarathy, Ramana Lashkar, Srini Gangadhara, Ram Annadi, Ganga Devara, Ashok Kondala, Praveen Billa, Satya Perkari and Sreenivas Vemula. The spell bounding dances by kids and flash mob dances were choreographed by Dallas Youth icon - Raviteja Gunty.

The event was closed with vote of thanks by TPAD Founder Upender Telugu - Ajay Reddy Eleti, Kalavala, Raghu Bandaru, Vijay Pitta among others.

Founders expressed special gratitude to Sunkireddy family for opening their home and hosting graciously the event planning and preparation activities.
