Dallas,TX: Shri AP. Jithender Reddy reached Dallas, Texas on September 25th, attended dinner with TPAD leadership and executive team and shared his vision for Golden Telangana, and discussed the role of Telangana NRIs. TPAD initiators Mr. Ajay Reddy & Mr. Rao Kalvala expressed the support of TPAD for Telangana development.

TPAD was initiated by very Passionate and dedicated community leaders - Ajay Reddy, Rao Kalvala, Raghuveer Bandaru, Updender Telugu, Mahendar Kamireddy, Vijay Pitta, Raj Gondhi and Janaki Mandadi.
TPAD has an extensive talent and positve energy to conduct community events to ”Bring the Community together”. The team includes Madhavi Sunkireddy, Sharada Singireddy, Ram Annadi, Ashok Kondala,Pavan Gangadhara, Praveen Billa, Satish Janumpalli,Rajendar Reddy Todigala , Srinivas Vemula, Anand Kathroju, Sudhakar Kalasani, Nikhil Tummala, ,Ravi Bajjuri, Satya Perkari, Sumana Bingi, Manju Reddy Muppidi, Sridevi Nuvvula,Srini Gangadhara, Praveen Arkala, Harish Patlolla, Kiran Vuddandapu,Sudhir Lingareddy,Madhukar Sama, Vamshidhar Sudini, Yugandhar Methuku.
TPAD is supported by community advisors Venu Bhagyanagar, Ravishankar Patel and Devendar Reddy.
TPAD has about 400 registered members that support all aspects of the community activities, and several donors and volunteers. TPAD is supported by TV Media, print media and many local and national organizations.
2014 DFW-Bathukamma Dasara is a major event that will be celebrated on Saturday, September 27th 5PM at OakPoint Amphitheater in Plano,Texas. Mr. Rao Kalvala (chair) and Ram Annadi (Co-chair) expecting 1st Bathukamma-Dasara sambaralu aftetr Telangana state formation will be attended by well over 5000 people.
TPAD organizers and volunteers have been working diligently to bring great festivity.
Some of the festival highlights include –
- Our chief guest for the event is very dynamic Mr. AP. Jithender Reddy, Member of Parliament of India
- The oakpoint amphitheater in plano is large enough to hold 3000 people and it has large stage, open seating and parking. Entry and parking is free
- The event start with Bathukamma festivity, where hundreds of women and young ladies bring Bathukammas and play with melodious songs the signifies goddess gowri.
- Dasara festival starts jammi puja and procession starts carrying lord Rama and Goddess Durga.
- Very authentic Hyderabadi food stalls and non food vendors will be setup
- Our chief guest for the event is Mr. AP. Jithender Reddy, Member of Parliament of India
- Popular singers from Hyderabad Anjana Sowmya, Deepu and Prudhvi will bring great live entertainment by singing Tollywood and bollywod songs.
- Dance performances by local talent in the end fireworks
