TATA Donates Rs. 50 Lakhs To ​Mission Kakatiya

Telangana American Telugu Association (TATA) is at the forefront of NRI organizations in supporting the vision of Hon'ble CM Shri Chandrasekhar Rao for Telangana development.  

Dr.  Pailla Malla Reddy, a philanthropic Telugu NRI from New York and the founder of TATA, has handed over a check for Rs. 50 Lakhs to Irrigation Minister Hon’ble Shri T. Harish Rao on May 4, 2015 towards the Mission Kakatiya project. He is adapting Sunkishala village tank in Valigonda Mandal, Nalgonda district.

TATA team has made this donation pledge at the time of its inauguration in NJ on April 5th.

In addition, Sudhakar Vidiyala, a TATA supporter and diamond member, has already given a check Rs. 10 lakhs to this project on April 29, 2015. The combined total from TATA team is Rs. 60 lakhs.

“We kept our word and delivered a check for full amount within a month. This is a small contribution from TATA in a bigger scheme of things in making Telangana a Bangaru Telangana,” said TATA core committee members.  

It is a great opportunity and pride in supporting our motherland, they announced with joy and celebration.

TATA is a major supporter and contributor for the Mission Kakatiya, the first major project undertaken by the Telangana state towards improvising water storage facilities.  

TATA is founded on a unique platform with young Telangana leadership (www.tataus.org). This newly created organization is making huge strides in mobilizing financial and strategic support for Telangana development.   

TATA is gearing up to become the largest Telugu association in the world. It is created a special vision and mission including promoting cultural and economic development as well as community activities for people of Telangana and Telugu origin.
