The Telugu Community Cricket tournament organized by Robin Singh Cricket Foundation in Memory of Andhra Ranji Trophy Player Late Danthala Meher baba was held on August 16th and 17th in Mississauga, Canada. 12 teams participated in league and Knock out format.
Elite Cricket club won the finals and took home “Pace/State Farm Trophy” and Robin Super 8 were runners up and grabbed “Trinity Auto Trophy”.
The Robin Singh Cricket Foundation director Mr. Arun Kumar Layam spoke during the awards ceremony and said” The main reason to conduct this community tournament is to bring the Telugu community together to play field and make every person who is interested to play cricket in the community to come out and play the game. The fun filled event not only attracted many players but also kids and families to come and enjoy the festive event.”
The organizers thanked the Main Sponsors Dr. Bobby Baig and Ali Nazem for Sponsoring winner’s Trophy and Ravi Fernandez for sponsoring Runners Up trophy. Century 21 Sponsored Man of the match awards.
