NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has sacked his social welfare minister, Sandeep Kumar, after receiving what he termed an "objectionable CD" of him.
Party sources said a CD submitted to Mr Kejriwal purportedly showed the minister in a compromising position with two women. It also had some objectionable photographs.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia the decision was taken at a meeting barely within half-an-hour.
"AAP is a party of ideals. AAP has a zero tolerance policy towards corruption, scandals," he said. "Ministers found taking bribes were removed immediately as soon as it was found. Action will be taken swiftly against any member irrespective of status or position."
