KCR Acting Like Tughlaq!

KCR Acting Like Tughlaq!

BJP senior leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Wednesday strongly opposed the government’s proposal to shift Telangana Secretariat to the Chest hospital premises at Erragadda.

Speaking to mediapersons here, Nagam said shifting of the Secretariat to the premises of Chest hospital is not a wise decision.

He alleged that Chief Minister KCR was dreaming of getting huge investment if high rise buildings come up after shifting of the Secretariat.

“Hundreds of poor people come every day to the Chest Hospital. They cannot afford the expenses to travel that long for their medical needs. He cannot make them travel so far,” he added.

He demanded that the Chief Minister convene an all-party meeting to discuss the issue of shifting of Chest hospital to Anantagiri in Vikarabad.

Taking a dig at KCR, the BJP leader said the thinking of the Chief Minister was reminding him of the infamous Tuglak regime. He also alleged that the Telangana ministers were not able to take own decisions due to the dictatorial attitude of KCR.

The TRS government is considering to shift the Secretariat to sprawling Chest hospital premises at Erragadda for construction of high rise buildings with a view to net huge revenue for the government, he added.
