Launching a scathing attack on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, senior Telugu Desam Party leader A Revanth Reddy on Saturday said that a political“ “Nirbhay” case should be filed against KCR.
Speaking to media here, Revanth alleged that KCR had given MLC tickets to those who opposed Telangana.
KCR failed to give importance and did not give any post to those who fought for Telangana, like Kodandaram and Devi Prasad, he said.
He also alleged that KCR had belittled the institutions of Governor, Speaker and the Assembly Secretary.
He urged members to exercise their vote as per their conscience in MLC elections and teach a lesson to KCR who had advocated value-based politics during his party meeting at Nagarjunasagar, but was now working against his own principles.
Revanth reddy demanded open ballot system for MLC elections, as in Rajya Sabha elections.
