Security expert Alok Bansal on Thursday expressed serious concern over Hyderabad emerging as the new hub of Islamist terrorism and called for concerted effort to tackle this emerging threat.
“Hyderabad is emerging as a new hub as far as Islamist terrorism is concerned. Earlier, we had students from there trying to go and join Islamic State, now you have got people trying to join al-Qaeda,“ Bansal said.
The Hyderabad Police has reportedly arrested two youths from Maharashtra earlier.
