Election kick off Satish Vemana as TANA Executive VP

Washington DC & Virginia Telugu community gathered in Ashburn, VA Saturday (March 21st) to show their support to the TANA Executive Vice presidential candidate Mr. Satish Vemana during the TANA National Election campaign Kickoff. More than six hundred (600) friends & well wishers of Satish Vemana attended the campaign meeting and announced their unconditional support to Satish Vemana & his panel.

The event started with the introductory speech by Janardhan Nimmalapudi, welcoming the gathering. Mr. Jakkamudi Subbarayudu Convenor of 4th TANA Conference (1983) in his speech urged the audience to support Satish Vemana and his team and Jayaprada Valluripalli told the audience about the need of a leader like Satish Vemana to serve the Telugu community.  

Other prominent Telugu community leaders spoke about the philanthropic deeds of Satish Vemana and the importance of youth in TANA and appreciated Satish Vemana for his audacious and magnanimous personality.

In his speech Satish Vemana thanked the friends & well wishers for organizing such a huge event and it is the affection and admiration shown upon him is precious to him. He promised that he will continue to serve the Telugu Community and thanked all his supporters for rallying behind him.

Satish Vemana recollected his journey in TANA since last 15 years as Regional Vice President, Joint Treasurer, Membership Committee chair, Treasurer and Secretary and now he is contesting as TANA Executive Vice President.  

He thanked the leaders of TANA for giving the opportunities and explained his involvement in various activities and services like Trivalley & Northern Virginia incident, TANA Colony in Kadapa district by his own money, Director Bapu statue in Narsapuram and other team square incidents.

Satish Vemana introduced Ravi Potluri who is contesting as Joint Secretary and Ramakanth Koya who is contesting as Foundation Trustee, he also requested the audience to support his panel – Madhu Thatha as Secretary, Murali Vennam as Treasurer, Ravi Potluri as Joint Secretary and Foundation Trustee – Ramakanth Koya, Anil Veerapaneni and Srinivas Lavu. Ballot papers will be mailed on March 30th and members will receive the ballots in the same week depends on the location and requested everybody to mail the ballots before April 10th and the last date of receiving the ballots is April 23rd.

Hero Nara Rohith attended as chief guest and told the audience Satish Vemana is like family member he attended as a younger brother of him and requested the audience to support Satish Vemana and his panel.

Prominent telugu community leaders attended and pledged their continuous support to Satish Vemana and his panel, TANA BOD Chair - Dr.Naren Kodali, TANA Joint Secretary - Subbarao Kolla, TANA Regional Representative (Capital) - Vijay Gudiseva,TANA Regional Representative (Capital) elect - Janardhan Nimmalapudi, TANA Regional Representative (Mid Atlantic) Elect - Prakash Battineni,Dr.Mulpuri Venkat Rao, GWTCS President - Ravi Gourneni,Valluripalli Jayaprada, Adapa Prasad, Ramchowdary Upputuri, Kishore chennupati, Rakesh Battineni, Trilok Kantheti, Vishu Kalavala, Bhuvanesh Bhujala, Samba Dodda, Madhu Bellam, Chandu Srinivas, Manne Satyanarayana, Rao Linga, Rammohan Jakkampudi, Raghu Meka, Durga Parchuri, Srinivas Anumolu,Vishnu Donepudi, Kishore Dangeti etc. attended the event.
