Cong Leaders Still Under Remote Control!

Notwithstanding the series of debacles in the elections, the Congress party leaders never learn and they continue to work under the remote control operation of the “high command.”

It happened once again in the case of Telangana Congress legislators. They could have easily decided as to who their leader should be in the Assembly, but as usual, they left it to the decision of party president Sonia Gandhi.

The T-Congress leaders had a meeting at the residence of TPCC president Ponnala Lakshmaiah and passed a resolution authorizing Sonia Gandhi to appoint the leaders of legislature party in Assembly and Council.

Explaining the resolutions being adopted, P Laxmaiah said that the Telangana Congress legislature party has adopted one motion supporting the leadership of Sonia Gandhi.

He said that another resolution was accepted opposing the decision to change the name of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. He said that if the name was changed, a nationwide movement would be taken up.

The Congress legislature party is likely to meet on June 3 to elect leaders of legislature parties of Assembly and Council. Since the legislators have resolved entrusting the selection of leaders to the high command, this meeting would be a formal one. The party national leaders might inform the leaders of legislature parties, being chosen by Sonia Gandhi.
